Most people say, the rich are too rich

Issue No. 2371

A huge majority— more than eight in ten—say the income gap between rich and poor is too big. This is up from three quarters in 2010.

Some 69 percent think it’s the government’s responsibility to reduce this inequality.

The number of people who think ordinary people don’t get their fair share of the country’s wealth has gone up.

And more people agree that there is one law for the rich and another for the poor.
