Socialist Worker

Politicians fail to inspire us

Issue No. 2371

Some 21 percent didn’t identify with any political party.

This is the highest the figure has ever been since the survey began in 1983.

More than a third, 36 percent, identified with Labour compared to 27 percent with the Tories.

The Lib Dems only attracted support from a measly 6 percent.
