Bus workers strike against pay freeze

Issue No. 2371

Workers picketed the Network Warrington bus depot on Friday of last week, in the first of seven planned strikes against a pay freeze.

The workers are members of the Unite union. They were next set to strike on Saturday of this week, and then once a week for a further five weeks.

The strike paralysed all but a small number of contract bus services.
