One hundred people attended the Pontypridd People's Assembly last week.
It was one of the biggest political meetings in Pontypridd in years.
Speakers included Owen Jones, local activists from bedroom tax and disabled people campaigns, the PCS and Unison unions, and Plaid Cymru and the Greens.
One attendee said, “The system is not broke. It does exactly what it is supposed to do—keep us down.”
There was also loud applause for criticism of the attacks on migrants
