Anti-racists in Edinburgh celebrate multiculturalism

Edinburgh Unite Against Fascism held a fundraiser in the city last Saturday called, Love Culture Hate Racism. The event was organised in conjuction with the Muslim Women’s Association of Edinburgh. 

The day drew in people from Kurdish, Japanese, Polish, Asian and Muslim communities of Edinburgh to celebrate mulitculturalism.

Singer Ferial from the band Avuda said she was glad to be part of an anti-racist event having experienced Apartheid in South Africa. She urged people to “celebrate being part of the Edinburgh community no matter where you come from.”
