No testing for young children

Activists plan to protest at parliament over changes to young children’s education.

Campaigners want an end to testing and more focus on play.

Assemble 11.15am on 30 October at Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall, for a march past parliament. 

Rally at Millbank from 2pm.


Charter for Primary Education conference

The Charter for Primary Education has called a conference to discuss the fight for good primary education. 

It will take place on Saturday 9 November in the West Midlands.

Campaign against Islington/Haringey free school

Teachers and campaigners in north London are fighting plans to open a primary free school on the Islington/Haringey border.

Campaigners have organised a public meeting on 24 October from 7-9pm at Christ Church, Crouch End Hill, London N8 8AX.
