UK Uncut protests to defend legal aid

Issue No. 2374

Anti-cuts protesters demonstrated in towns and cities across Britain last Saturday against cuts to legal aid.

The protests, organised by UK Uncut, occured in Manchester, Liverpool, Cambridge, Hull, Northampton, Norwich and London.

Some 400 protesters blocked the road outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London. They unfurled a banner outside the courts which read, “No justice, no peace”.
