AN EXCELLENT 72 copies of Socialist Worker were sold last week in Greenock campaigning in solidarity with the workers at Fullarton. 122 papers were sold in Manchester's Market Street, with �50 raised to help send protesters to Nice, and 105 were sold on Edinburgh's Princes Street. 64 papers were sold on Saturday's Jubilee 2000 demonstration.

Edinburgh's workplace sales this week included 4 copies of Socialist Worker sold at the Royal Infirmary, 3 at Shrubhill bus garage, 4 at Shrubhill social work office, 4 at Brunswick Road post office and 4 at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. Sheffield's included 5 at Western Road council depot, 5 at Olive Grove works department and 5 at the New Town Hall. On Clydeside 5 were sold at Scottish Power in Cathcart and 7 at Chivas Regal in Paisley.

Elsewhere 4 papers were sold at both Swan Hunter's shipyard in Newcastle and Greenwich Hospital, plus 3 at the British Library in central London. In the last week 7 people joined the Socialist Workers Party in Birmingham; 6 in Leeds; 5 at Swansea University; 2 in Glasgow and Liverpool; 1 in Salford, Manchester University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Bromley, Orpington College and Hounslow.
