Refugees

THE COMMITTEE to Defend Asylum Seekers is encouraging supporters to organise Christmas parties for refugee families. Many refugees will not have money for Christmas because New Labour expects them to live off just 36.54 a week.

Campaigners can approach community centres, church halls and trade union offices for a room, and collect donations of food and toys.

  • Contact the committee at BCM Box 4289, London WC1X 3XX. Phone 07958 478 628 or e-mail info@defend-asylum.org
