The Millennium Dome's unpopularity is costing the public over 50,000 a week in transport costs.

New Labour insisted that London Underground installed a fleet of 24 buses at the Dome because they feared the Jubilee Line would not be open on time.

The Jubilee Line has been up and running-but the crowds haven't. The buses have only been used to transport people once a week to the unpopular exhibition.

The Dome bosses won't be worse off. London Underground is responsible for picking up the buses' weekly price tag of 50,000.
