58 dead in Dover

Murdered by Straw's racist laws

FIFTY EIGHT bodies lying dead in Dover. The innocent victims of the war on asylum seekers by New Labour and the Tories alike. The press and politicians point the finger at the gangs who profit from smuggling people into Britain. But why do the persecuted and the poor increasingly put their lives in the hands of criminals?

It is because the Tories and now New Labour have made it virtually impossible for people seeking refuge in Britain to come here legally. This government orders airlines to "weed out" refugees and "illegal" immigrants before they board.

Jack Straw passes a law that threatens haulage, train and shipping companies with a 2,000 penalty for every "clandestine" they are found carrying. So more and more people are forced to turn to the most dangerous means to get into Britain, and to rely on the gangs of criminals who provide them. The 58 dead in Dover are the latest casualties of a murderous game being played by the politicians.

Tory Ann Widdecombe plays the race card against asylum seekers, and Jack Straw caves in to her at every turn. This guarantees that more desperate people will die in agony, entombed in the back of a stinking lorry.
