Souter's day for bigotry
BRIAN SOUTER, the millionaire boss of Stagecoach who funded the anti-gay referendum in Scotland, is pursuing his campaign to keep Section 28. Souter has individually mailed the million people who voted to keep Section 28 to invite them to a "family day event" next Saturday, 24 June. The event "to celebrate marriage" is another step in Souter's campaign to attack gay rights.
The Scottish Trades Union Congress has called a march against bigotry on the same day as Souter's event. It is vital that trade unionists and campaigners build a strong presence on the streets to counter the Tories' and Souter's lies.
