AROUND 200 people attended the first Greenwich Stop the War Coalition meeting in south east London on Tuesday of last week. Speakers included Tony Benn, Dr Siddiqui of the Muslim Parliament and Lindsey German.

AROUND 60 students attended a teach-in organised by Students Against the War at York University last week. Students expressed anger at the occupation of Iraq and a determination to continue building to stop any future wars.
