Foframe

MEMBERS OF the GMB union are on all-out strike at Foframe in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The company employs 21 workers. They are mostly women and mainly in the GMB. Foframe supplies picture frames to Boots and other companies. It is refusing to implement the British Furniture Manufacturing Industry Agreement which it has signed up to. That sets a minimum wage of 4.79 an hour-179.63 for a 37.5 hour week. Foframe pays just 4.24 instead.
