Over the Easter weekend Socialist Worker sellers took to the streets campaigning in defence of refugees. 124 papers were sold in Manchester's Market Street, 118 on Glasgow's Argyle Street, 73 in Wood Green in north London, 36 in Longsight in Manchester, 32 in Romford, 24 in Hastings and 21 in Clydebank. Workplace sales included 13 at both Ford Dagenham and Rolls Royce in Derby, 9 at Nottingham town hall, 8 at both Remploy in Neath and Westbourne Park bus garage, 5 at GEC in Manchester, 4 at Yarrow's shipyard in Glasgow and 3 on a new sale at Stockport post office. 49 copies Socialist Worker were sold to striking Pfizer electricians.
