MADAME BOVARY (Mon, 9pm, BBC1). First of a two part TV version of the Gustave Flaubert novel about a woman in 19th century provincial France who tries to break out of her class. Karl Marx's daughter Eleanor liked it so much she translated it from the French. The second part is on Tuesday at 9pm. 
DISPATCHES: THE NUCLEAR FILES (Thurs, 9pm, C4) takes a timely look at who really controls Britain's nuclear industry.
