THE NESTL� 16, activists arrested in Halifax on 30 November 1999, will appear in court next Tuesday. They are charged with a very serious crime just for protesting. On 30 November, as part of the worldwide protests against the World Trade Organisation, about 50 people climbed onto the roof of the Nestl� factory. Sixteen were arrested and charged with conspiracy to burgle.
