WORKERS AT Harrow's Ekta colour finishing department, part of the giant Kodak corporation, are continuing their battle against management's attacks on pay and conditions. Earlier this month the workers, in the TGWU union, voted to refuse to volunteer for overtime. This has hit production hard.

The action came after management tried to impose fixed rest days just before Xmas. Also last year management proposed to attack workers' conditions by introducing "seasonal" or annualised working hours. A furious mass meeting of workers forced management to retreat on that attack. All the attacks have been driven by Kodak's desire to save 3 million.
