ANTI-RACISTS in Tottenham, north London, have called a demonstration against police racism and harassment. At a meeting before Xmas local campaigns got behind a call by prominent local activist Delroy Lindo for a march on Saturday 22 January.

Delroy has been a long time supporter of Winston Silcott. Because of this he has been targeted by the police. He has faced 15 charges in the last two years. All have been dismissed when they have reached court. The march has the backing of the Silcott campaign and the family of Roger Sylvester, who died a violent death in police custody last year.

  • Demonstrate: Saturday 22 January, 12 noon, Wood Green Common, march to Tottenham police station.
