EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK (Sat, 12.30am, C4). Woody Allen comedy. Worth watching just to see the sketch about parachuting sperm.

SECRETS OF THE STONE AGE (Mon, 9pm, C4). Part one of a new series, which sets out to discover the roots of civilisation and dispel the myth of early humans as club wielding cavemen.

RAISING ARIZONA (Tues, 11.05pm, C4). Brilliant and funny film from the Coen brothers about a couple who kidnap the infant son of a business tycoon.

THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE (Wed, 1.30pm, C4) Epic, military swashbuckler starring Errol Flynn as a heroic British cavalryman caught up in the lunacy of the doomed charge. Not in the same league as the 1960s anti-war version.

THE MARK THOMAS PRODUCT (Thurs, 11.05pm, C4). A welcome return of the brilliant political satirist. Do not miss.

CHILDREN OF CRIME (Wed, 11.15pm, BBC1). A new documentary about juvenile crime in post-war Britain. Promises to look at the issue in a serious way.
