Aquatopia: The Imaginary of the Ocean Deep

The depths of the oceans remain mostly unexplored. This exhibition brings together more than 150 artworks that imagine what may lay there.

Since global warming could transform them before we ever get to explore the reality this eclectic exhibition may be the closest we get.

It brings together works from different eras and cultures—from ancient monsters to futuristic dolphin embassies.

Manchester Science Festival

There was outrage at the suggestion that Manchester could lose its Museum of Science and Industry earlier this year.

Now there’s a chance for people across the region to celebrate its survival with a series of performances, workshops and exhibitions featuring the latest cutting edge research.
