Arguing and marching for women's rights

Issue No. 2377

Around 700 people attended the Feminism in London conference last Saturday.

Speakers included Green Party MP Caroline Lucas, feminist writer Cynthia Cockburn and campaigners against the sexual objectification of women.

There was a special session on challenging porn culture which had a lively debate on the whether to support “feminist porn”.

After the conference several hundred gathered to join the annual Reclaim the Night march through central London.
