Chinatown protest shuts down shops

Issue No. 2377

Hundreds of protesters marched through London’s Chinatown on Tuesday of last week against immigration raids. 

Most restaurants and shops closed for two hours and workers enthusiastically joined the protest.

The Chinese rights group Minquan and the London Chinatown Chinese Association called the protest.
