WORKERS AT Jaguar Browns Lane in Coventry are gearing up for a demonstration on Saturday of next week against the loss of over 1,000 jobs at the car plant.

Union officials have been doing stalls and leafleting in the local area. Posters advertising the protest are up in shops. All the local mosques were set to be leafleted on Friday of this week.

Union officials have also been going around the different sections of the plant arguing with workers why they should vote yes in the upcoming strike ballot.

The TGWU and Amicus unions are mailing members in other car plants telling them to join the protest.

Assemble Saturday 27 November, 10am, Millennium Square, Hale Street, Coventry. Rally at Speakers Corner, Little Park Street.
