Bashar al Assad's regime targeted children to try and break revolt

A new report has revealed the scale of casualties among children in Syria since a revolt began in March 2011.

The report stated that children are directly targeted by president Assad’s military in order to try to break the revolt against the regime.

It showed that 11,420 children have been killed. Of those 764 children were “summarily executed” and 389 were killed by sniper fire. Over 100 children were also tortured.
