Teachers hound hated Gove

Teachers and other trade unionists protested outside a local Tory party meeting due to be addressed by Michael Gove on Friday of last week.

Gove didn’t have the bottle to enter the meeting by the front entrance.

We should keep on hounding him, best of all with national strikes, until we have defeated his attacks on our pay, pensions and students.

The NUT has called a protest in Nottingham over Ofsted inspections in the city’s schools. Assemble at Speaker’s Corner, Market Square from 12.30pm, Saturday 7 December

nSome 60 delegates attended the NUT LGBT Conference on Saturday of last week. 

Many of those attending for the first time were younger activists who had been involved in building the regional strikes over pay, pensions and working conditions.
