UPS strike called off after rep returns to work

Issue No. 2384

The Unite union has called off a planned strike at UPS Parcels in central London.

Some 120 van drivers and loaders were set to strike on Friday of this week over unreasonable workloads and alleged bullying.

Unite called off the action after a sacked union rep was reinstated. Talks over outstanding issues are planned at conciliation service Acas in the new year.
