Send donations to support sacked electrician Steve Acheson

Issue No. 2384

Activists in the Unite and Ucatt unions protested with Steve Acheson outside Fiddlers Ferry power station last Saturday.

It marked five years since Steve was made redundant from the site. Steve, who now works for Unite, hasn’t worked as a skilled electrician since.

Warrington Trades Council set a goal of raising £25,000 to stop Steve’s house being repossessed. They need to raise just a few hundred more pounds to meet the target.

Send cheques made payable to “Fiddlers Ferry Hardship Fund” to Warrington Trades Council, 6 Red Gables, Warrington WA4 4SB.
