Some 40 people attended a Unite Against Fascism (UAF) conference in Leeds last Saturday.

It was aimed at getting fascist Andrew Brons out of his European Parliament seat in May’s elections.

Labour candidate Eleanor Tunnicliffe said most people weren’t racist or fascist but that we need vigilance against the far right.

Sam Kirk, joint secretary of Yorkshire and Humber UAF, talked of upcoming activity in colleges and building support for the ‘Brons Must Go’ statement.
