by Dave Sewell
Issue No. 2392

Anti-fracking campaigners have called a protest in central Manchester against drilling by IGas on Barton Moss, Eccles on Sunday of next week.

Hundreds of people came to a solidarity gig for the Barton Moss anti-fracking camp last Sunday. Landowners Peel Group tried to get the camp evicted. Protesters have mounted a legal challenge.

And Greater Manchester Police arrested a 15 year old school student.
