Clashes continue in Venezuela

Protests and violent clashes continue in Venezuela. 

Right wing opposition leaders called protests against shortages, inflation and crime. 

Their supporters have led violent attacks in the streets.

Government supporters rallied to mark the anniversary of the death of former president Hugo Chavez on Wednesday of last week.

President Nicolas Maduro also called a Peace Conference last week with sections of the opposition, big business leaders and the Catholic church.
