Some 150 workers at Ealing hospital were set to walk out for a further seven days in a row over pay and holidays.

The strikers are porters, domestic, catering, and help desk workers employed by Compass Medirest.

The GMB union members are due to begin their strike on 7am on Friday of this week.

The workers struck for seven days from 14 March to demand better pay.

They receive £6.31 an hour and no annual sick pay.

Strikers will picket from 7am-4pm outside Ealing Hospital.
