Bombardier workers call third week of strikes

Issue No. 2398

Production workers on strike at Bombardier’s Central Rivers Depot in Burton upon Trent have given notice to extend their strike for a third week.

They first walked out on Wednesday 26 March against management plans to impose new shift patterns that would involve working 70 percent of their shifts at night.

The workers are members of the Unite union.

Visit the picket line at Central Rivers Depot, Barton-under-Needwood, DE13 8ES.
