Doncaster Care UK workers were set to start a two-week strike on Monday of next week. It’s an escalation of their ongoing dispute against attacks on terms and conditions.
The Unison union members have struck for 20 days in eight weeks. They have been buoyed by solidarity messages and donations from the trade union movement.
Many protested outside Labour leader Ed Miliband’s Doncaster constituency office last week over his lack of support.
