May Day marches were held around Britain from Thursday of last week to Monday of this week to mark International Workers’ Day.

Thousands marching through London (above) honoured the late RMT union leader Bob Crow and Labour left stalwart Tony Benn.

A May Day march in Glasgow attracted over 1,500 people. Speakers who called for more strikes to beat the Tories got the biggest applause.
