Anti-racists in Batley, West Yorkshire, joined a counter-protest last Saturday against the English Defence League. Among those attending were Batley’s Labour MP Mike Wood, several councillors, and trade unionists. The protest was called by Kirklees Unite Against Fascism and Huddersfield TUC.
