Packed meeting to save Devon's Torrington Community Hospital

A packed meeting of Save The Irreplaceable Torrington Community Hospital last Saturday voted to reject a six-month evaluation report.

Speakers talked of how relatives had received worse service since the removal of ten beds and the implementation of the Care Closer to Home scheme. 

The mayor of Torrington, Richard Rumbold, read out one such account.
