Local government and school workers took part in a day of action over pay on Wednesday of last week.
The Unison union members say they are “locked out” of the economic recovery the Tories are boasting about.
Workers staged lunchtime protests in a number of towns and cities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Council workers in other unions, such as the GMB and Unite, joined the protests.
The workers took part in a united strike on 10 July over pay alongside other unions.
Unison has called a strike on 14 October for local government and school workers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It plans to ballot members in Scotland between 9 and 29 September.
