More than 500 workers at housing charity St Mungo’s Broadway are being balloted for strikes.
The workers are members of the Unite union.
Since St Mungo’s merged with Broadway in what Unite describes as “a bizarre coup d’etat” by Broadway bosses, workers have faced sweeping attacks on their terms and conditions.
This includes a £5,000 pay cut for new starters, and pay taken out of collective bargaining for existing staff.
But new boss Howard Sinclair has given himself a £30,000 rise.
The ballot closes on Tuesday of next week.
