Issue No. 2424

Train conductors at Arriva Wales were set to strike for 24 hours from 12 noon on Friday of this week. It follows a 67 percent vote to strike by the RMT union members.

Workers at Holyhead, Chester and Llandudno Junction depots are to walkout in a row over the dismissal of two colleagues.

RMT has condemned bosses’ “hard line approach” to the company’s sickness absence policy.
