Southampton march against rail privatisation

Issue No. 2424

Members of the RMT rail union marched alongside other trade unionists through central Southampton last Saturday against the McNulty report.

The report commissioned by the previous Labour government argues for more privatisation of the rail service.

RMT president Peter Pinkney, former Labour councillor Keith Morrell and Jon Woods from Portsmouth Trades Council spoke at a rally.
