New challenge after by-election result

Issue No. 2424

The Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC) vote in the by-election in the Woodside ward in Tottenham, north London, was disappointing—TUSC received 1.5 percent.

However, local activists will continue to build for a serious challenge in the Tottenham seat at the general election next May.

The TUSC national steering committee is appealing for the widest possible number of candidates against the cuts to stand.
