Defiant mood on shop staff picket

Over 250 shopfloor staff staged a 24-hour strike at Meggitt Polymers and Composites in Shepshed, Leicestershire, on Tuesday of last week. 

The mood was defiant. Workers are fed up with bosses trying to cut their entitlement of paid absences from four times a year to just twice a year.
