Union suspends action for talks

Issue No. 2427

A 48-hour strike by train conductors at Arriva Wales last week was suspended for talks, the workers’ RMT union announced.

Workers at Holyhead, Chester and Llandudno junction depots were set to walk out on Thursday and Friday in a row over the dismissal of two colleagues.

Action short of a strike set for 25 October to 8 November has also been suspended.
