RMT union members who clean at London’s Waterloo station were set to strike for 24 hours from 3pm on Monday of next week.
The workers, employed by private firm Interserve, voted 100 percent for action.
The union says the dispute is over “victimisation and dismissal of RMT members”, “bullying and harassment of staff”, underpayment of wages and “ignorance of basic employment rights”.
RMT also says it has “received reports of shocking racism by local Interserve managers”.
A further 24-hour strike has been called from 3pm on Friday of next week.
