Lawrence suspect let go

Cops arrested and questioned a sixth man for the murder of Stephen Lawrence, but kept it secret for almost a year.

The Daily Mirror newspaper revealed the man is believed to be friends with two men convicted of killing Stephen. He won’t be prosecuted due to “insignificant evidence”.


IPCC says cops may face action

The IPCC police watchdog has said six Metropolitan Police officers should face disciplinary action for possible racial discrimination towards a black firefighter.

Cops dragged Edric Kennedy-Macfoy from his car and tasered him in 2012.


Occupy returns to parliament

Up to 150 people joined an Occupy Democracy protest in Parliament Square, central London, on Friday of last week. 

Police fenced off the square, but protesters briefly blocked the road.
