Tens of thousands of people marched through Athens on Thursday of last week as workplaces across Greece were shut down by a general strike.
It was the first general strike in months, and the 32nd since 2010.
Strikers oppose cuts to wages, pensions and public sector jobs that the government is pushing through in order to meet the terms of a bailout.
Despite claiming that recovery is close at hand, the Greek government is in talks with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund for further loans. These could take decades to repay.
