Students held protests demanding free education in towns and cities across Britain last Saturday.
Protests were held in Warwick, Norwich, Leicester, Bath, Brighton and Sheffield.
As many as 100 people joined marches in Brighton and Bath town centres.
And 60 protesters, including Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC)-supporting councillor Wayne Naylor, joined the march in Leicester. Around 60 student activists attended the Student Assembly Against
Austerity national convention in London on the same day.
They agreed on a “student manifesto”, and declared support for the Stand up to Racism protest on 21 March.
