Fascists outnumbered in Clapton and Solihull

by Jen Austin
Issue No. 2450

Anti-fascists outnumbered a group of Nazis who turned up to an Antisemitic event organised by White Power fascists in Clapton, east London, last Saturday.

The fascists had aimed to target the local Jewish community. News of the fascists’ presence spread and brought 100 locals out to oppose the 22 Nazi thugs.

Around 40 Unite Against Fascism supporters stopped a march of 30 English Defence League racists in Solihull, West Midlands, last Saturday.

It came after a series of racist incidents in the past fortnight.

Anti-fascists got a good response from locals while the racists skulked in a pub.
