The outbreak of Palestinian resistance has continued with protests and stabbing attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians.
Some 44 Palestinians have been killed since the unrest began last month, including ten children.
But much of the media has focused more on the eight Israelis who have been killed. Some pundits call the unrest the “knife intifada”.
They blame Palestinians for the violence. But Palestinian attacks are the result of years of occupation.
The Ma’an news agency reported some 200 Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian neighbourhood with stones and firebombs in the West Bank city of Hebron last weekend.
Some Palestinians have turned to knife attacks in desperation. But a “day of rage” on Friday of last week saw protests across the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza.
Solidarity protests took place across the world. Around 1,000 people protested outside the Israeli embassy in London.
